THREE THINGS

The history of the world is that of six men of faith, six men of deep pure character.
We need to have three things:
-the heart to feel
-the brain to conceive
-the hand to work.
Make yourself a dynamo.
FEEL first the world
ASK yourself, does your mind react in hatred or jealously
Good works are continually being undone by the tons of hatred and anger
which are being poured out on the world.
If you are pure,
If you are strong
you, one man
are equal to the whole world

PEACE IS GOD

Lord Sri Krishna in Bhagavad Gita says "Think of me always"
It means "Think of God"
We do not know what God is
All we know about God as we think in terms of what heard, read or assumed
But really what is God
PEACE IS GOD
So think of peace always.
Remember that there is always peace in you
Think of your positive nature
Always affirm, "I am peaceful, I am joyful" and act accordingly
This is the only thought one should constantly keep in mind
All other thoughts are the outcome of forgetting this truth.

TELUGU NEW YEAR
The new year for Telugu people is "Ugadi"
Ugadi
means Yuga Aadhi, beginning of a yugam or era.
The first day of their Lunar Calender.
A new life with blooming of fresh flowers, singing of birds
A special pachadi is prepared which contains,

HINDUISM

INDIA THE BIRTH PLACE OF HINDUISM
Hinduism-
It has no single founder
It is a religion
World's third largest religion
It has set of religious beliefs and practices
Based on Vedas
Hindus have no rule to go to temple on particular day
because vast majority of Hindus, engage religious
rituals at their home.
Their home is a/the temple.
The main symbol of Hinduism is "OM" or "HUM"
It is a sound symbol representing "universe"
It is a distinctly recognizable symbol for Hindu Dharma

3000 YEARS OF HINDU TRADITION

WORSHIP
It is onething about prayer
It is a link between us and God
A connection between us and all of humanity that prays.
Is it that, I have to pray for myself?
Or for the people who are/were facing calamities
Never pray with specific request
Praise the divine and seek general guidance.
Spiritually, realise the meaning of "our father" instead "my father"
The idea is collective prayer.
A man or woman is not living lonely in the world. They live in crowd.
One is not travelling solo in the journey of life.
Prayer - collective prayer will perform act of charity.

FIRST DUTY

The first duty of everybody is to have good control over the tongue.
Without control of tongue, we can forget about spirituality.
Control in both ways
Eating and talking
All the senses are controlled if the tongue is controlled

GIVE AND TAKE

EMBODIMENTS OF LOVE

There is love in everyone of you.
Develop that love.
Share it
Love is not one-way traffic.
It is two-way.
Give and take.
We don't need to go anywhere,
If you have love.

ENGLISH BHAJAN- MY PRAYER

AMMA AMIRTHA SANG THE ENGLISH BHAJAN

Everyone in the world should sleep without fear
At least for one night, sleep without fear
Everyone in the world should eat to their fill
At least for one day, eat to their fill
There should be one day when there is no violence
No one is injured, no one is harmed
All people young and old should serve the poor
And needy, at least for one day, serve selflessly
This is my dream
This is my prayer
Love is the answer, love is the way
Love is the answer, love is the way.

Belief is prayer-Prayer is belief

MEANING OF OM
OM is the sound of the Cosmic Vibration. The entire cosmos vibrates. Every cell vibrates. In fact, the whole universe is nothing but sound vibrations. The basic vibration is a hum and the sum total of the universal vibration is also a hum.In between, there are fragments. All the words, all the languages, all the various sounds that are created by the human beings, animals or even machines are small parts of this cosmic hum.. Without that hum, there is nothing. To denote that cosmic hum, there should be a word. OM is the word that comes closest to representing that cosmic hum. The word OM itself is not the hum. It is the name of the hum.
